Baseus wireless QI car holder
More information on this car phone holder
This universal car holder is suitable for all kinds of smartphones. You can attach it to your dashboard, but also to your windshield, thanks to the useful suction pad. So you can use the Baseus wireless QI car holder the way you want to.
However, the output of the charger varies by smartphone brand. The output for Apple phones is 7.5W, for Android phones this is 10W.
The intelligent holder works with an infrared sensor, which detects when your smartphone is held against the holder. When your phone comes close to the sensor, the holder will clamp it. When you remove your phone from the holder, the sensor will catch this and make sure it easily releases. You can do this with only one hand!
- Wireless charging;
- Attachment: suction pad on dashboard or windshield;
- Easy to attach;
- Color: black;
- Material: rigid plastic.
Baseus Direct-view car holder
Another great option for a car phone holder is the Direct-view model from Baseus. You can easily attach the car holder to the dashboard with a clamp. This phone holder fits smartphones from 3.5 inches to 7.0 inches, making it have the largest range regarding the size of smartphones that can be used.
Especially convenient to this model is that the bottom of your phone directly clamps to your dashboard. With other phone holders your phone ‘floats’ in the car, which sometimes causes the phone to shake, for example in sharp turns. With this design, you won’t have that problem!
What is remarkable about this model is that your smartphone can only be attached horizontally. This is due to the design that ensures your smartphone does not shake. If you prefer using your smartphone vertically, another model might be a better choice.
- Attachment: on the dashboard;
- Suitable for smartphones from 3.5 inches to 7.0 inches;
- Easy to attach;
- Color: black;
- Material: rigid plastic.

The holder does not leave scratches on your phone or case, and is fairly easy to attach.

This fun phone holder from Baseus is perfect to attach to the handlebars of your bike. It makes you able to navigate or start a new song, without risking a fine. Holding a phone while cycling is in fact prohibited!
The holder has so-called TPU pads at the corners where your phone will be attached. This ensures that your phone will not be scratched or damaged by the holder. Also, all buttons and inputs of your phone remain accessible, while your phone is in the holder.
- Attachment: to the handlebars of your bicycle;
- Suitable for phones from 4.7 inches to 6.7 inches;
- Your handlebars should have a diameter of 22 mm to 30 mm;
- Color: black;
- Material: hard plastic.
Attachment methods
In the car, there are two standard mounting methods. The phone holder can either be attached to your dashboard or in your ventilation grid. There are also models available to secure to your windshield.
Phone holders that clamp into your ventilation grid are easy to install yourself. You don’t need screws or screwdrivers, you just clamp the holder into the ventilation grid. Very easy!
For phone holders that you would like to attach to your windshield or dashboard, you can go for the attachment method with a suction pad. Again, there are no screws involved. Opt for a strong suction pad so that your phone remains securely in place during all your car trips.
The only mounting method where the holder is secured with screws are so-called proclips. However, they require a little extra time and effort to mount, but once they are attached in your car, they are extra secure.
Baseus magnetic phone holders
There is also a difference in how your phone clips into the holder. You can do this with a good clamping holder, but there are also Baseus magnetic phone holders available. Such a magnetic phone holder keeps your phone extra well in place by, yes, a magnet.
The advantage of using this, is that your phone always remains clamped (compared to car clamps that can become weaker over time). Also, securing your phone in these clamps goes a bit faster. With a magnet, it’s done almost automatically when you hold the phone close to the holder. With a phone holder without a magnet, it takes a little longer. With this one, you usually have to pull out the clamp and squeeze your phone into it. Keep in mind that this time difference is about seconds and minutes. If you already left late, it won’t matter that much. 😉
For car holders with a Baseus magnet, it is important to check whether your phone is compatible. A magnetic Baseus car holder in combination with a phone without a magnet, obviously won’t work!
(Wireless) Charging
Some phone holders charge your phone while it is in the holder. This is not a necessary function, but it is quite convenient though. When you are on the road for a while, using your Google Maps for a long time can drain your phone’s battery. When you finally arrive at your destination, your phone is empty and you can’t use it anymore!
The solution to this is a phone holder with a built-in charger. Usually these chargers are wireless, for your comfort. Are you interested in reading more about Baseus (wireless) chargers? Then click here for more information on what’s involved in wireless charging.
Here’s a little something for you: if you opt for a Baseus ventilation holder with wireless charger, make sure your phone is compatible with the charger. For wireless charging, this can often be different!
Compatibility with your phone
Just to be sure, we’ll mention it again: for every phone holder, we recommend checking whether your phone will fit.
Fortunately, most phone holders are universal, so you only have to look at the size of your smartphone. Also, most phone holders are now geared towards large sized smartphones, so this won’t be an issue anytime soon. The dimensions of your phone are shown in inches.
Bicycle holder for phones
There are also several types of phone holders available, made specifically for (electric) bicycles, scooters or motorcycles. These special holders are clamped around your handlebars, and therefore have a different shape than holders for cars.
Holding your phone while cycling is forbidden, by the way. Thanks to a Baseus phone holder, you can cycle to your destination with navigation and without any problems. Very comfortable, right?
The bicycle holder is already very popular among (evening) food deliverers. We recommend it for anyone who has trouble finding the road, or simply cycles in new places often. It is a small investment, compared to a fine for cycling with your phone in your hands.
Luckily, most bicycle mounts are universal. However, you should pay attention to the diameter of your handlebars. This is often around 30mm. Most handlebars are not that thick, so you will probably be able to use the holder. But forewarned is forearmed!
Damage by phone holders
Getting a quality phone holder is essential for two reasons. First of all, it is important that the holder stays in place, and also holds your phone securely. It’s no fun when you suddenly see your phone holder fall off while driving.
Also, it is vital to choose a good phone holder, to prevent damage to your phone or case. The cheapest models can sometimes be impractical, which can lead to scratches in your case or even in your screen. Of course you do not want this! The models of Baseus phone cases are fortunately all secure to use. Some even have extra protection against scratches. So you are safe!
Now which Baseus phone holder should I use?
Which Baseus phone holder is best for you depends on what your needs are. In our top 5, you will find phone holders that all work fine.
Do you consider it crucial to charge your phone wirelessly? Then especially the first two models are appropriate. If you prefer a lot of flexibility when it comes to the phone holder, we recommend the fourth in our list. This 360-degree rotatable phone holder makes every viewing angle possible for your phone.
Carefully consider what your requirements are for a phone holder, and base your choice on that. Hopefully these tips will at least get you started. Good luck!
